The William Hill Premiership will offer up five games across Scotland on Wednesday evening.

The reining Champions look to continue their recent run of form when they welcome Aberdeen to Celtic Park, Dundee welcome St Johnstone to Dens Park, Kilmarnock will look to stop their recent rot when they take on St Mirren at Rugby Park, whilst Fir Park will see Motherwell and Dundee Utd go head-to-head.

At 8pm, Rangers will look to build on their first victory of the league campaign, they travel to Falkirk.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some William Hill Premiership odds and betting angles for Wednesday’s fixtures:

Celtic v Aberdeen – Wednesday, 7.45pm

Celtic have made the perfect start to their domestic campaign, they remain the only side to have won all three outings thus far in the William Hill Premiership, yet there’s still disappointment following their embarrassing exit from the UEFA Champions League.
Martin O’Neill’s side are looking for their sixth consecutive top-flight title, they return to Celtic Park having beat Falkirk here 2-1 on Saturday afternoon, you have to go back to February for their last defeat on home soil.
Continuing their perfect start here should be expected if history is anything to go by, with Celtic unbeaten in their last twenty-eight games in this meeting, so it’s no surprise to see them the big odds-on favourites with William Hill.

Aberdeen travel to Glasgow having picked up just three points from a possible nine (W1, L2), although they should feel hard done by following their 1-0 defeat to Rangers on Sunday, with VAR once again getting involved to disallow a late Aberdeen equaliser, a little harsh.
It’s still be a positive start to the season for Stephen Robinson’s side, they’ve won six of their eight games so far this season, six of which coming in the cup, however defeat here would secure three consecutive defeats in the league.
The Dons are up against it in this one, mainly because they’ve lost twelve of their last thirteen trips to Celtic Park, drawing once in that period. If punters fancy Aberdeen to end that poor record against the Bhoys, they can be backed at 9/1 to win here with William Hill.

Dundee FC v St Johnstone – Wednesday, 7.45pm

It’s been a good start to the campaign for Dundee, with two wins and two defeats leaving them sitting fourth ahead of this fixture against St Johnstone, although they return to Dens Park having suffered a 2-1 defeat here on Sunday.
Dundee have won two of their last three meetings with St Johnstone, last season their away form let them down but at home they were fairly solid (W9, D4, L6), and they’ll be hoping to put something similar together in this campaign, they can be backed at 8/5 with William Hill to win this one.

Following their relegation in the 2024/2025 campaign, St Johnstone returned to the William Hill Premiership at the first time of asking, they’ve since won just one of their first three games, whilst that remains their only win in any of the last five across all competitions.
The Saints have won just one of their last five trips to Dens Park (D2, L2) but it’s worth noting that both teams have found the back of the net in each of the last four meetings in Dundee, Simo Valakari’s side can be backed for victory at 6/4 with William Hill.

Kilmarnock v St Mirren – Wednesday, 7.45pm

It was more of the same for Kilmarnock last weekend, they are now the only side in the William Hill Premiership to lose all three of their opening games in this campaign, but the big worry is defensively.
Neil McCann might have to just alter the way he likes to play until there’s some stability, as Killie conceded another four at home to Dundee Utd (0-4), they’ve now conceded at least two goals in each of their last four games in all competitions.
The little bit of hope for Killie ahead of this one is their solid record against in this fixture, they’ve lost none of their last four meetings against St Mirren (W3, D1), punters can back the home side at 9/5 with William Hill.

Despite that 5-1 thumping in the cup against Rangers, St Mirren have started their campaign strongly and remain just one three sides in the league yet to taste defeat (Celtic and Motherwell).
They’ll travel to Rugby Park feeling a little frustrated having conceded a 93rd minute equaliser against the Well on Sunday, with the game ending in a thrilling 3-3 draw, that point was still enough to move the Saints up to second.
This have proved to be a tough place to visit for the Buddies, especially in the league, they’ve won none of their last fourteen league visits here, with their last win at Killie coming back in 2013, William Hill make the Saints 29/20 to end that long run and take all three points.

Motherwell v Dundee Utd – Wednesday, 7.45pm

Motherwell enjoyed an excellent season last year under Jens Berthel Askou, finishing fourth after playing some genuinely impressive football. Askou’s departure to Toulouse means Alfred Johansson is now in charge.
The Well have made an unbeaten start to the William Hill Premiership but six sixth having won one of their three games so far (D2), the slight concern now is the fact they come into Wednesday’s fixture winless in their last four games across all competitions.
Motherwell should be confident of bouncing back on Wednesday though, as they have won each of their last five home meetings with Dundee United, scoring at least two goals on each occasion, they can be backed at 19/20 with William Hill.

Dundee United picked up their first league win of the season and they did it in style over the weekend, their 4-0 victory away at Kilmarnock was their first away win in the league since February.
Not only that, this was the Terrors’ biggest away win in the the top-flight since November 2013, where they beat no other than Motherwell 4-0 here at Fir Park, Jim Goodwin will be hoping history can certainly repeat itself in this one.
Their record here at Fir Park hasn’t been great though in recent years, they’ve won just once here in their last nine visits (D1, L7) in all competitions, the Tangerines can be backed with William Hill at 5/2 to pick up the win.

Falkirk v Rangers – Wednesday, 8pm

Falkirk have a fantastic campaign last season, finishing sixth in their return to the top-flight for the first time since 2009/2010, though it’s been a tough start for the Bairns as they wait for their first win of the new season (D1, L2).
John McGlynn will be looking for his side to make the most of playing this Rangers side that seem low on confidence right now, although they’ve not beat Rangers in their last six meetings in all competitions, they lost their last two here but in thrilling encounters last season (3-6 and 2-5). – The Bairns can be backed at 4/1 to upset the Gers on Wednesday with William Hill.

Rangers had to rely on a penalty against Aberdeen to pick up all three points on Sunday, their first league win of the season under Derek McInnes but there’s still plenty of questions to be asked of this Rangers side right now.
They’ll be no European football beyond August for the first time in nine years for Rangers following their shock exit out of the Europa Conference League at the hands of Jablonec, that might actually help the Gers as they look to end Celtic’s recent dominance of the top-flight title.
With all the said, there definitely needs to be an improvement from the Gers with McInnes already under huge pressure, they must simply win here and William Hill make them the 4/7 odds-on favourites to do just that.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;

The “Promotion Markets” are:

The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
