National League Betting Tips 2026/27: Best Bets & Predictions On Saturday afternoon
ANOTHER weekend of exciting Enterprise National League action is rapidly approaching and Tony Incenzo previews Saturday’s action in the fifth tier of the Football League.
Just two clubs remain unbeaten after five games played thereby stimulating football betting odds. And two further sides have not recorded a win.
Here is my analysis of the upcoming fixtures I am looking forward to most alongside considered score predictions to assist your betting plans…
Southend United v Yeovil Town Prediction
- Kick-off: 12.30pm
- Rankings: 7th versus 4th
Southend United preview – Began 2026/27 with three straight wins but currently nursing two games lacking victory for new boss Kieron Dyer.
Yeovil Town preview – Two points below the summit whilst undefeated. Yeovil drew their opening two fixtures followed by three consecutive maximum pointers.
Score prediction: Riveting 3-3
Barrow v Sutton United Prediction
- Kick-off: 3pm
- Rankings: 23rd versus 2nd
Barrow preview – Freshly relegated from EFL League Two and presently yet to win. Only two draws see Barrow two points adrift of safety already filling second last place.
Sutton United preview – One point short of top spot. Sutton United’s four successive wins were abruptly terminated by the 2-0 home reverse against Wealdstone on Bank Holiday Monday.
Score prediction: Sutton scintillating 4-1.
Hornchurch v Forest Green Rovers Prediction
- Kick-off: 3pm
- Rankings: 3rd versus 17th
Hornchurch preview – Building nicely on last season’s promotion via the National League South Play-Offs. Four wins out of five attempts is an excellent start for the Urchins.
Forest Green Rovers preview – Many people’s pre-season promotion tip. Alas, Forest Green are merely two points ahead of the dreaded drop zone having lost their past three games.
Score prediction: Urchins unblemished 1-0.
Scunthorpe United v Harrogate Town Prediction
- Kick-off: 3pm
- Rankings: 19th versus 5th
Scunthorpe United preview – Three defeats across five encounters so far. The Iron are clear of relegation danger worries on goal difference.
Harrogate Town preview – Three points under the leaders thanks to three wins registered. The 2-1 home success over Gateshead on Bank Holiday Monday featured an extraordinary goal by visiting keeper Pete Jameson.
His long 46th minute booted clearance dramatically bounced over Harrogate Town’s debutant goalie Rory Watson.
Score prediction: Apprehensive 1-1.
Boreham Wood v Carlisle United Prediction
- Kick-off: 5.30pm
- Rankings: 1st versus 9th
Boreham Wood preview – Four wins peppering an unbeaten commencement which gives Wood a one point buffer. They are £1.75 million better off this week too because Swedish club Djurgårdens IF signed wide attacker Abdul Abdulmalik.
It is a new record transfer fee received by a Non-League club. I watched him live during the 2025/6 National League Promotion Final versus Rochdale at Wembley Stadium. Abdul ran the show that day and he is undoubtedly the best footballer I’ve ever seen outside the Football League.
Carlisle United preview – Two wins and two draws incorporated in their ongoing four match undefeated run.
Score prediction: Wood inspired 2-0.
Rest of the weekend’s Enterprise National League score predictions:
- Aldershot Town v Halifax Town: 0-0
- Fylde v Worthing: 3-2
- Gateshead v Solihull Moors: 2-2
- Hartlepool United v Woking: 3-1
- Tamworth v Boston United: 1-2
- Wealdstone v Kidderminster Harriers: 1-1
