Harry Kane Odds to Win Ballon d’Or 2026: 1/2 Favourite After Shortlist Confirmed
England captain 1/2 frontrunner after shortlist announced
Harry Kane remains the firm favourite to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or with William Hill after being named on the 30-man shortlist for football’s most prestigious individual prize.
The England captain heads the betting at 1/2 to claim the award, with Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal next at 4/1 and Kylian Mbappe 5/1.
Rodri occupies fourth in the market at 9/2 after a standout World Cup campaign for Spain, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (9/1) the only other player priced below 20/1.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Now the shortlist is confirmed, Harry Kane remains our clear favourite to become the first English Ballon d’Or winner since Michael Owen.
“Lamine Yamal and Rodri also have strong claims having helped Spain win the World Cup, while Kylian Mbappé is another obvious contender after another outstanding campaign.
“With the ceremony coming to London for the first time, there’s a fascinating race ahead, but Kane is very much the man to beat in our book.”
