Claudia Winkleman Heads Betting To Become Host Of Hell’s Kitchen Revival
Claudia Winkleman is the overwhelming favourite with William Hill to become the next host of Hell’s Kitchen.
The leading bookmaker make Winkleman just 1/3 to front the revived ITV show following reports this week that she’s in early discussions to return to the show, which she previously hosted in 2009.
Hills make Tom Kerridge, Joel Dommett and Dermot O’Leary the closest challengers at 10/1, although all three remain significant outsiders compared with Winkleman’s short price.
Marco Pierre White is 25/1, while Jamie Oliver and James Martin are both 20/1, with Fred Sirieix and Maya Jama priced at 16/1.
Next Host of Hell’s Kitchen Odds:
- Claudia Winkleman – 1/3
- Tom Kerridge – 10/1
- Joel Dommett – 10/1
- Dermot O’Leary – 10/1
- Fred Sirieix – 16/1
- Maya Jama – 16/1
- Jamie Oliver – 20/1
- James Martin – 20/1
- Marco Pierre White – 25/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Claudia Winkleman looks the one to beat in the running to be the next host of Hell’s Kitchen on ITV, and at 1/3, she’s a long way clear of the rest of the field.
“There’s a nice bit of symmetry to the story given Claudia has already hosted the programme, but she’s arguably an even bigger television star now than when she last fronted the show.
“Tom Kerridge, Joel Dommett and Dermot O’Leary are all 10/1, but for now the betting suggests this is Claudia’s job to lose.”
Following Claudia Winkleman’s departure from Strictly Come Dancing, it’ll be interesting to see if she makes a dramatic return to Hell’s Kitchen or if a new project is in the pipeline.
