White Christmas Betting 2026: Edinburgh Odds-On Favourite for Snow
William Hill have opened up their White Christmas market, with odds available on which UK city will see snowfall on Christmas Day.
Edinburgh are the early market favourites, trading at just 2/1 to see snowfall on Christmas Day this year.
They’re followed by Newcastle at 3/1, with Manchester and Leeds (both 4/1) narrowly behind.
London is priced at 6/1 – shorter than their opening price of 8/1 last year – with Cardiff 5/1.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “With exactly 100 days until Christmas Day, we’ve unfrozen our market for which city will experience a White Christmas this year.
“Scottish capital Edinburgh is always among the market favourites and currently leads the betting at 2/1, with Newcastle following close behind at 3/1.
“Elsewhere, while we make it unlikely that Londoners will be catching snowflakes on Christmas Day, the capital’s odds of 6/1 are shorter than their opening price of 8/1 in 2025, keeping punters dreaming of a White Christmas this year.”
