Championship Predictions Today: Draws Galore On Tight Tuesday In Second Tier

A full allocation of EFL Championship action is looming on the horizon for our midweek delectation and Tony Incenzo previews the best of the action on Tuesday evening.

All of the top three clubs face tricky away trips. So football betting odds are well worth checking.

Championship Best Bets Tuesday:

  • Millwall and Swansea to draw (9/4)
  • Wolves to win by two or more goals (21/20)
  • Stoke and Middlesbrough to draw (5/2)

Here is my analysis of the upcoming games I am looking forward to most alongside considered score predictions to assist your Championship betting.

Millwall v Swansea City

  • Kick-off: 7.45pm
  • Rankings: 8th versus 1st

Millwall preview – Inside the Play-Off zone on goal difference following three unbeaten outings which include Saturday’s single goal success at Preston North End.

Swansea City preview – The surprise leaders maintained their two point buffer by overcoming visitors Norwich City 2-1. It was a third consecutive maximum pointer. Merely seven goals conceded cements the Championship’s tightest defensive rearguard.

Score prediction: Intense 3-3.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Bolton Wanderers

  • Kick-off: 7.45pm
  • Rankings: 5th versus 17th

Wolverhampton Wanderers preview – An unusual battle of the Wanderers! Wolves lie four points short of those much coveted automatic promotion rungs. Saturday’s 1-0 reverse away to Middlesbrough was a first defeat within four games.

Bolton Wanderers preview – Three points clear of relegation peril. Bolton are fresh from a 2-1 home setback against Stoke City thereby overturning two straight wins.

Score prediction: Wolves whimsical 4-1.

Stoke City v Middlesbrough

  • Kick-off: 8pm
  • Rankings: 4th versus 2nd

Stoke City preview – Five victories spanning a six match undefeated run take the Potters two points beneath second spot. Saturday’s 2-1 triumph at Bolton Wanderers came despite playing with 10 men for 70 minutes after defender Maksym Talovierov was sent off.

Middlesbrough preview – Protecting a seven game unbeaten stretch. Boro hover two points behind the summit and two points above Tuesday’s hosts.

Score prediction: Rigid 1-1.

Rest of the Championship score predictions for Tuesday:

  • Bristol City v Blackburn Rovers: 1-0
  • Burnley v Charlton Athletic: 1-2
  • Cardiff City v Watford: 0-0
  • Wrexham v West Bromwich Albion: 2-3
