Coventry City – Premier League Form and Betting Odds
- Coventry’s return to the Premier League has produced mixed results, with the Sky Blues collecting six points from their opening seven matches. However, there have been encouraging signs recently, with Frank Lampard’s side winning two of their last three league fixtures.
- Saturday’s encounter will be the first top-flight meeting between Coventry and Fulham since April 1968. The two sides last faced each other during the 2021/22 Championship campaign, when Coventry completed the league double. The hosts will be hoping to maintain that recent head-to-head advantage.
- Coventry appear to be finding their feet in the Premier League following a difficult start. The Sky Blues failed to score in their opening four matches but have since found the net in three consecutive fixtures. That improvement offers encouragement ahead of Fulham’s visit, with William Hill pricing the hosts at 19/10 to claim another victory.
Fulham – Premier League Form and Betting Odds
- Fulham finally recorded their first Premier League victory of the season last weekend, beating Hull City 1-0 at Craven Cottage. That much-needed result lifted the Cottagers off the bottom of the table and eased some of the pressure surrounding the club. However, there is still plenty of work to do.
- Saturday’s trip to Coventry will be Fulham’s third consecutive league encounter against newly promoted opposition. Another victory would see the Cottagers secure back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time since March. They will be hoping last weekend’s success can provide a turning point in their campaign.
- However, Fulham’s recent away record offers little encouragement ahead of their trip to the Coventry Building Society Arena. The visitors have failed to win any of their last eight league matches on the road (D4, L4). Their most recent away victory came against Sunderland in February. William Hill offer 13/10 for Fulham to end that unwanted run on Saturday.
