Mercury Prize odds: Olivia Dean & Nia Archives dominate betting
Olivia Dean and Nia Archives are the most popular selections in William Hill’s 2026 Mercury Prize market.
Dean’s ‘The Art Of Loving’ is the 3/1 favourite for the award, having been backed in from 7/1 since the market opened, accounting for 22% of the total number of bets placed.
Nia Archives has seen the biggest weight of money staked on her to win the award, with her odds shortening to 4/1 since opening at 15/2.
Nia Archives winning the Mercury Prize would be the worst result in William Hill’s book, with a quarter of all the money placed on the market wagered on her.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “It’s just one day until the Mercury Prize 2026 ceremony and the betting is really starting to heat up.
“Olivia Dean has been the long-term favourite for her album ‘The Art Of Loving’, and she remains top of the market at 3/1.
“She is not unchallenged, however, with Nia Archives’ odds tumbling from 15/2 into 4/1 following a wave of support for her, meaning she now accounts for a quarter of all money traded on the market.
“Dean has taken the most individual bets, but the money lies with Nia Archives and a victory for her would prove costly for us.”
