Josh Widdecombe odds-on to be axed by BBC
Josh Widdecombe is the 1/4 favourite not to return as a presenter of Strictly Come Dancing in 2027, with William Hill pricing the comedian at 11/4 to retain his role for next year’s series.
The odds follow a mixed public reaction to the BBC show’s new presenting trio, with the early market suggesting Widdecombe could be the most vulnerable of the three hosts.
Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe look better placed to return, with Willis priced at 1/10 to present the 2027 series and Radebe at 2/9. Both are strong favourites to retain their roles, although there is still a full series to play out before next year’s line-up is decided.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “It’s fair to say there’s been a mixed reaction to Strictly’s new presenting line-up, and the early odds suggest Josh Widdecombe could be the one facing the chop from the BBC ahead of next year’s series.
“Widdecombe is currently 1/4 to not present Strictly in 2027, with odds of 11/4 that he retains his role. While it’s still early days for the new trio, the market suggests his position could be the least secure of the three.
“Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe look much safer bets for next year’s show at 1/10 and 2/9 respectively to return. There’s still a full series to play out, though, so the public reaction could yet change the picture.”
