Now, let’s take a closer look at some Women’s Super League odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:

Arsenal v Aston Villa – Sunday, 12pm

  • Arsenal finally ended their five-match winless WSL run with Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham in the North London derby. Renee Slegers’ side followed that success with an impressive 3-0 Champions League win against Benfica on Wednesday. The Gunners are also unbeaten in their last 22 WSL home matches (W16, D6), William Hill price the hosts at 1/8 to continue that run with another victory.

  • Aston Villa head to North London following consecutive WSL victories for the first time this season. Brian Sorensen’s side beat Liverpool 2-1 before securing an entertaining 3-2 victory away at Everton last weekend. However, Villa have won just two of their previous 12 WSL meetings with Arsenal. The visitors can be backed at 12/1 with William Hill to cause an upset.

London City Lionesses v Manchester City – Sunday, 12pm

  • London City Lionesses have established themselves as genuine contenders near the top of the WSL table. Eder Maestre’s side sit third after winning five of their opening seven league fixtures. However, they surrendered a late lead against Liverpool last weekend, drawing 2-2 after five consecutive victories. Their attacking form remains impressive, with 19 goals already scored this season. London City have also won their last five WSL home matches and are available at 19/10 to extend that record against the champions.

  • Manchester City’s perfect WSL start ended with Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Andree Jeglertz’s side remain unbeaten after seven league matches (W6, D1), scoring 20 goals along the way, while City won both meetings with London City last season. William Hill offer 11/10 for the visitors to return to winning ways.

Birmingham City v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 2pm

  • Birmingham City secured their first WSL victory of the season last weekend, beating Charlton Athletic 1-0 at St Andrew’s, the Blues had previously held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw, giving them four points from their last two league matches. However, Birmingham have failed to win any of their previous four WSL meetings with Tottenham (D1, L3). The hosts can be backed at 11/4 with William Hill to end that record.

  • Tottenham travel to Birmingham looking to end a three-match losing streak in the WSL. Martin Ho’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal last weekend, following setbacks against Chelsea and London City Lionesses. However, Spurs responded with a convincing 6-1 Players Cup victory over Bristol City in midweek, whilst they’ve won their last four competitive meetings with Birmingham without conceding. Punters can back the visitors at 3/4 to secure another victory.

Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace – Sunday, 2pm

  • Brighton head into Sunday’s rivalry clash following consecutive victories across all competitions. Arturo Ruiz’s side beat West Ham 3-0 in the WSL before recording an emphatic 6-0 Players Cup success against Wolves. The Seagulls have also won their last two WSL home fixtures and will be hoping to extend that run, William Hill price the hosts at 2/9 to take all three points.

  • Crystal Palace remain without a WSL victory since beating Everton on the opening weekend of the season. Jo Potter’s side have drawn three and lost three of their subsequent six league fixtures. Their most recent outing ended in a 3-1 defeat against Chelsea, although Palace remain unbeaten away from home (D3). The Eagles also held Brighton to a draw in their last WSL meeting, Palace victory can be backed at 17/2 with William Hill.

West Ham United v Liverpool – Sunday, 2pm

  • West Ham return to Victoria Road looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 3-0 defeat against Brighton. Rita Guarino’s side have struggled for consistency, winning just one of their last five WSL fixtures. However, the Hammers responded with a 2-1 Players Cup victory over Charlton in midweek. The Hammers also won the most recent league meeting with Liverpool by a 1-0 scoreline in April, William Hill offer 21/10 for the hosts to repeat that success.

  • Liverpool had to settle for a 2-2 draw against London City Lionesses last weekend, despite fighting back to rescue a late point. Gareth Taylor’s side have struggled defensively this season and have dropped eight points from winning positions, more than any other WSL club. However, the Reds have lost just one of their six previous league visits to West Ham. Another away victory could be on the cards, with Liverpool available at 19/20.

Charlton Athletic v Chelsea – Sunday, 2.30pm

  • Charlton Athletic are still searching for their first WSL point following seven consecutive defeats. Karen Hills’ side suffered a narrow 1-0 loss at Birmingham last weekend before losing 2-1 against West Ham in the Players Cup. Charlton also lost both previous FA Cup meetings with Chelsea by 4-0 scorelines. The hosts can be backed at 14/1 with William Hill to cause a major upset.

  • Chelsea head across London sitting top of the WSL following last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Sonia Bompastor’s side then recorded a 2-0 Champions League success against Roma on Wednesday, extending their winning run across all competitions. The Blues have also scored 98 goals in 32 WSL meetings with promoted clubs, averaging more than three per game. Chelsea are priced at 1/10 with William Hill to maintain their advantage at the top of the table.
