Manchester United Relegation Tips: Red Devils The Shortest Price They’ve EVER Been For Drop

| BY News Team

Manchester United are now the shortest price they’ve ever been for Premier League relegation, according to William Hill.

The leading bookmaker went 14/1 about United to be relegated following their 2-0 loss to Chelsea.

A similar price was quoted about the Red Devils to go down at points in the 2024/25 season, but historical data shows that 14/1 is the shortest relegation odds they’ve had in the Premier League era.

Michael Carrick’s odds to be the next Premier League manager to leave were also clipped into 4/7, making him the clear favourite in that market.

Premier League Relegation Odds

  • Coventry 4/7
  • Hull City 4/5
  • Manchester City 4/5
  • Crystal Palace 5/4
  • Sunderland 11/8
  • Ipswich 5/2
  • Nottingham Forest 5/1
  • Fulham 7/1
  • Newcastle 11/1
  • Everton 12/1
  • Manchester United 14/1
  • BAR 20/1

First Premier League Manager to Leave Odds

  • Michael Carrick 4/7
  • Pierre Sage 9/4
  • Regis Le Bris 5/1
  • Oliver Glasner 14/1
  • BAR 20/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps said: “Things are going from bad to worse at Old Trafford and this weekend saw Manchester United hit a new low, as they are now the shortest price they have ever been to be relegated from the Premier League.

“Following their ninth consecutive winless match, their odds to go down were clipped to 14/1, the shortest relegation odds they have had during the Premier League era.

“The only consolation is the fact that rivals Manchester City remain odds-on (4/5) for the drop with the consequences of their investigation still to be decided.

“The outlook looks equally as bleak for head coach Michael Carrick who, despite clearly having the fans on side, is 4/7 to be the first Premier League manager to go this season.”
