Next James Bond Odds: Callum Turner surges into favouritism for next 007
Callum Turner has regained favouritism to become the next James Bond, with William Hill cutting his odds from 3/1 to 8/13 following fresh speculation overnight.
An article from Showbiz 411 sparked the latest round of rumours on Tuesday evening, reversing a recent trend that had seen Turner drift in the betting as Jack Lowden took over as favourite.
Lowden is now second in the market at 2/1, followed by Jack Barton at 15/2 and Josh O’Connor at 9/1. Richard Madden, Robert Pattinson and Joe Alwyn are each priced at 16/1.
The latest move puts Turner firmly at the head of the betting, although speculation surrounding Daniel Craig’s successor remains distinct from an official casting announcement.
Next James Bond after Daniel Craig Odds:
- Callum Turner – 8/13, from 3/1
- Jack Lowden – 2/1
- Jack Barton – 15/2
- Josh O’Connor – 9/1
- Richard Madden – 16/1
- Robert Pattinson – 16/1
- Joe Alwyn – 16/1
- BAR – 20/1
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Callum Turner had been drifting in our next James Bond market over the past couple of weeks as Jack Lowden moved into favouritism, but the picture has drastically changed again in the past 24 hours.
“Fresh speculation has seen Turner cut from 3/1 to 8/13, putting him firmly back at the head of the betting, with Lowden now his closest challenger at 2/1.
“We’ve seen several twists in this market already, and while the latest move puts Turner in pole position in our betting, speculation is still a long way from an official announcement.”
