Minnesota Vikings (5/9) @ Chicago Bears (8/5)
Sunday sees the Minnesota Vikings travelling to Chicago to face the Bears, with Minnesota looking to continue a strong start to their campaign.
Sporting an 8-2 record, the Vikings are well in the mix to be the first seed in the NFC, which has come as a surprise to many. Only a 22/1 shot to win Super Bowl 59, they could hardly have started better this year. Their defence has been dominant, with quarterback Sam Darnold constantly impressing in Minnesota.
Despite a slightly quieter start to the season for the Chicago Bears, who are 4-6 through 10 games, they have been dealt bad luck on more than one occasion. It was an unfortunate defeat to the Washington Commanders, who were victorious courtesy of a last second Hail Mary, as well as being on the wrong end of a blocked field goal against the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears have already fired coach Shane Waldron this season and they need to turn their form around, despite being away from home Minnesota look a strong bet at 5/9 to keep their run going.
Baltimore Ravens (4/6) @ Los Angeles Chargers (13/10)
A fixture featuring two teams firmly in the playoff mix this weekend is the Baltimore Ravens who are facing the Los Angeles Chargers.
Both sides have won seven games so far this season and both have been tremendous so far in their own right. The Ravens have been lethal on the attack, particularly with their ground game and it’s hard to see how teams can stop them in their current run of form. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is the current 7/4 second favourite to be the year’s MVP, he’s linked up brilliantly with Derrick Henry who is 11/8 to clinch the Offensive Player of the Year, it’s no surprise Baltimore making noise in the Superbowl market, they are priced at 7/1.
The matchup between the two sides is set to be fascinating as the Charges have been exceptional thus far defensively, only affording three rushing touchdowns against them and it will be a real test to see how they handle the test of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
Arizona Cardinals (10/11) @ Seattle Seahawks (10/11)
The last game we are previewing is the Arizona Cardinals who are travelling to Seattle to face the Seahawks. The closest match in terms of odds on the entire card of fixtures, this looks to be a cracker.
The NFC West playoff race is on a knife edge, and this is a pivotal fixture for both sides in their seasons, a loss is final for Seattle’s chances of reaching the playoffs, with Arizona having the slight edge due to their unbeaten record in their division.
There’s no doubt this is a must win game for Seattle and they look the bet at 10/11 here.
