Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks Prediction & Tips
The Seattle Seahawks host NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, in a titanic contest in the race to top the division, and our tipster is here to preview the latest edition of Thursday Night Football.
With both teams sitting at 11-3 going into tonight’s game, it is a huge moment in the season and victory could serve as the catalyst for one of these NFC West giants to go deep into the postseason. The winner will be in pole position to clinch the divisional title but the top seed in the NFC is also well within reach.
Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams Odds:
- Los Angeles Rams – EVS
- Seattle Seahawks – 4/5
The Rams came out on top in a thriller with the Detroit Lions last week, scoring 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to record a narrow 41-34 success.
With 514 yards on offence and a total of 30 first downs, the Rams were practically unstoppable and their offensive prowess will give them a great chance of going all the way this year – they are currently favourites in Super Bowl odds.
Unfortunately, star wide receiver Davante Adams suffered a hamstring injury and he will be sorely missed against the Seahawks. Heading into the latest round of games, he leads the National Football League in receiving touchdowns.
The Seahawks have been rock solid defensively this season and they head into Thursday’s match off the back of a 18-16 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts were restricted to 215 total yards of offence, with the Seahawks defensive line holding Indy to 3.7 yards per play. A repeat of that effort would see Seattle give the Rams a real test.
The Rams ran out 21-19 winners when the teams met in Week 11 but the Seahawks turned the ball over four times that day and better retention could make the difference on Thursday night.
Lumen Field is an imposing venue for visiting teams and the Seahawks can flex their muscles and edge another tight contest – and they are very much contenders in the Super Bowl race.
