Mike McCarthy’s side will make the trek to Foxborough, Masachesussets to face the New England Patriots at the Gillette Stadium. The Patriots face an in-form Pat’s side and need a win this Sunday to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Patriots vs Packers: form and predictions
The Pat’s appear to be the stronger team on paper, with a comfortable win against the Bills in week eight allowing them to arrive into the clash with ease.
Cordarrelle Patterson made the headlines last week, but there are still plenty of stars in this Patriot’s side to keep the Packers at bay.
Most of all, Tom Brady, who has been successful against McCarthy’s men many times in recent years. The 41-year-old averaged over 300 yards last week against the Bills and will be at it again this week.
As the first bet in our Patriots vs Packers predictions, we’re tipping Belichick’s men to emerge as victors on home turf.
Yet, they will face tough opponents in an Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers.
Rodger’s was unlucky to miss out on a win against the unbeaten Rams last week, but despite playing on a suspect knee, has still produced the necessary heroics to keep his side in the running for the playoffs.
Aside from Rodgers, the likes of Jimmy Graham and Devante Adams have impressed with their rushing yardage. The latter man picked up 133 yards last week, proving his capabilities in the build-up to Sunday’s game.
So, while we’ve made Brady’s side our pick to win as part of the Patriots vs Packers predictions, we’re betting that it’ll be a challenging game for Belichick’s side with multiple attacking threats present in the Patriots team.
Patriots vs Packers predictions: match bets
Match predictions: Patriots to win, tipped @ odds of 2/5
The Patriots playing at home in front of their fans has persuaded our betting tipsters to wager in their favour.
Odds of 2/5 are still pretty risky, but fortune favours the brave (and Tom Brady).
The Pat’s quarterback clinched over 300 yards against the Colts, with three winning throws, and that was against a robust Colts defence. He followed this up with more of the same against the Bills last weekend.
The first match bet in our Patriots vs Packers predictions forecast the 41-year-old to continue his form into this Sunday’s clash and lead his side to a win.
The Packers have stolen points in the dying moments of the game to take things to overtime this season already, and there is any team that can spoil a seamless victory for the Patriots, then it’s Aaron Rodger’s team.
Granted, they haven’t been too prolific after full-time, but with odds tipped at X, taking a punt on the Packers to snatch a late victory wouldn’t be a bad wager.
Double result: Packers/Patriots, betting @ odds of 13/2
The last installation of our Patriots vs Packers predictions focuses on a double result.
We’re projecting McCarthy’s men to be on the front foot in the first half, as they did against the Rams last week, but the Patriots are our pick to emerge stronger after the break.
The third and fourth quarter plays have seen strong play from both sides, but if we’ve learnt anything from Pat’s wins last week, it’s that anyone can be found anywhere by Brady if the need arises to snuff out the opposition’s chances.
Our traders chose the perfect combination of betting tips, with Gilette Stadium the perfect stage for a massive win, as either side have a hand in the stakes.
