Boxing Betting Tips & Predictions Today – Saturday 22nd November 2025
On Saturday 22nd November, the ANB Arena in Riyadh will once again play host to a dazzling fight card that’ll see World titles put up for grabs in several fights.
Called the ‘Night of Champions,’ it’ll be headlined by a WBC World light heavyweight clash between top-ranking American David Benavidez and headstrong British cult hero Anthony Yarde.
It has the makings of another stellar night of action, and one that’s put on at a reasonable time for British boxing fans! Here’s a look at the headline bouts and who the bookies deem to have the edge in the boxing odds.
David Benavidez vs Anthony Yarde
Top of the bill in Saudi Arabia is 30-0 Benavidez, looking to show that he earned the bump from interim to WBC World champion. In his way is the Hackney-born Yarde, who’s on a four-fight winning streak.
Benavidez first truly stepped up from padding his record to world-class competition at super middleweight back in 2023. He beat Caleb Plant and Demetrius Andrade when the two only had one loss between them that year.
Since entering light heavyweight, he’s won by unanimous decision against the 20-1 Oleksandr Gvozdyk and 11-0 David Morrell. Both were for the WBC’s interim strap.
The American is a very crafty boxer who relies on punching volume. They’re well-placed shots designed to pin and rattle those who step that little bit too close. In particular, he likes to wear them down with body shots.
Yarde’s record reads 27-3, but the spirited Brit has taken on some of the finest fighters in their prime to record those losses. He lost in the 11th to Sergey Kovalev at short notice in 2019.
In 2020, he took a surprise split decision loss to Lyndon Arthur, got revenge with a fourth-round knockout in 2021, and completed the trilogy comeback by unanimous decision last time out.
Also at short notice, he took on Artur Beterbiev for three World titles in 2023, but the firefight ended in a TKO loss in the eighth. Throughout, Yarde has proven himself to be worthy competition.
Yarde’s grit, willingness to trade, and the sheer power that he can unload from the inside could cause his foe in this latest title shot problems but the Benevidez vs Yarde odds heavily lean against him at 11/2 to win.
Brian Norman Jr vs Devin Haney
He rocks up with a 32-0 record, but that bypasses a significant event in the career of Devin Haney. After a superb run of wins against George Kambosos Jr twice, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Regis Prograis, the wheels came off.
The incredibly highly-touted American met underdog rival Ryan Garcia in April 2024. The man from California weighed in over the limit for the super lightweight bout, removing the belts from play, but he was all over Haney.
Garcia sent the usually more fleet-footed counter-puncher to the mat three times, scraped a majority decision, but was found to have taken a banned substance. The cheat was fined and suspended, and Haney moved up.
Entering welterweight, he faced the 29-2 José Carlos Ramírez, seemingly back on form in the May 2025 bout. He claimed the unanimous decision victory to align a shot at one of the four champions of the division.
That champion is the 28-0 Brian Norman Jr. Noted for his stellar knockout rate of 22 KOs to date, it’s only really been the 24-year-old’s last few fights that have been matchups of true top quality. Even so, he won them all by stoppage.
Norman Jr secured the interim WBO belt in May 2024, sending Giovani Santillan down twice in the tenth to get the stoppage. He then walked through his first defence against Derrieck Cuevas and then beat Jin Sasaki in June 2025.
On his day, the more experienced and crafty Haney would usually get the nod, but the bookies are backing the clinical power of the young champ in this one. Norman vs Haney betting lines put Norman Jr as the narrow pick at 5/6.
Jesse Rodriguez vs Fernando Daniel Martinez
Three of the four major super flyweight belts will come together in this battle of undefeated champions that’ll kick off the top half of the card in Riyadh.
Coming in with two of those belts is Jesse Rodriguez. With 15 KOs to his 22-0 record, the American southpaw is on a four-fight stoppage streak, which began with retiring Sunny Edwards at the end of 2023.
Rodriguez has already spoken of moving up after two more fights to become undisputed, and it’s tough to argue with his confidence. He’s an excellent inside fighter who can take a punch and often gives two back better.
Looking to stop his ascent and get himself one belt away from being undisputed is Fernando Daniel Martinez. At 18-0, the Argentine has most recently strung together impressive 12-round wins over Kazuto Ioka in Japan.
Martinez’s key to victory in Japan was staying very busy. He was courageous, came forward a lot, and was willing to keep up the volume regardless of what came back his way in front of Ioka’s home crowd.
He’s a gritty and busy fighter who, if he shows up with the same mentality against Rodriguez, could create a real spectacle for the crowd in Saudi Arabia.
The Rodriguez vs Martinez odds slide heavily in favour of the American winning at 1/9 and to do so by KO, TKO, or DQ at 2/5. Martinez, impressive as he was against Ioka, is out at 11/2 to cause a substantial upset.
