Two-time Ashes winner Steve Harmison spoke to William Hill: “England showed a bit of fight late on through Will Jacks and Ben Stokes in Brisbane, but you could see how drained the captain was.
“When he reached his half-century, he barely acknowledged it. No raised bat, no celebration. And after hearing what he said post-match, you get the sense there’s more to that moment.
“The reality is simple: England are 2–0 down in this Ashes series. If you’re feeling optimistic, England to come back and win it 3–2 is 18/1.
“Worryingly, Australia to go on and win 5–0 – and that’s looking a real possibility – is 6/4. We’ll find out more when we head to Adelaide.”
