PDC Players Championship Finals 2025 Predictions

| BY News Team

With the 2025 Players Championship Finals at Minehead, the market is shaping up exactly as expected for one of the most unpredictable events on the PDC calendar.

The top 64 Players Championship performers arrive in Minehead fresh from a long season on the floor, and historically this tournament has produced as many surprises as it has star turns.

With short early-round formats, a packed schedule, and the World Championship looming, this is the time of year when momentum, confidence and composure matter more than reputation.

With a highly competitive field, let’s take a look at what players may represent a bit of value in the outright betting.

Bet on the Players Championship Finals 2025 here with William Hill

Gian van Veen – 12/1

Gian van Veen looks of interest at the 12/1 mark.

The Dutchman has been one of the standout performers across the season, producing the scoring power and temperament you associate with players who win televised titles rather than just contend, proven by his recent victory in the European Championship – a first major honour for the promising arrowsmith.

His ability to beat top-ranked opposition consistently has kept him prominent in the outright market, but at 12/1, with his scoring power and finishing abilities, there is no doubt there shouldn’t be such a gulf in prices to the likes of Luke Littler and Luke Humphries.

His progression this year has been steady and impressive, making him one of the more reliable options in this price range.

Wessel Nijman – 40/1

Fellow Dutchman Wessel Nijman makes appeal at odds of 40/1.

He finished the Players Championship season second on the Order of Merit and closed things out with a title in the final floor event.

While he sits well behind the headline favourites in the market, his ceiling is undoubtedly high enough to make a run into the final stages, proven by his record on the floor. His scoring surges can change matches quickly, and this tournament’s format suits players who can produce that sort of explosive burst.

He has promised to make a splash in a competition like this for some time, and has the game to do so, and can’t be left alone at these types of odds.

Damon Heta – 66/1

Damon Heta is available at 66/1, making him the biggest price of the three and arguably one of the more tempting longshots in the field.

He’s a proven title winner on the Pro Tour this year, but inconsistency on the stage keeps him out at a bigger number. That said, his game is solid enough that if he settles early, he’s exactly the type of player who could take out seeds and open a section of the draw.

If he discovers some of the form he has shown on the floor over the course of the year, he will be a danger to all and the 66/1 looks worth snapping up, especially given how often this event throws up shock semi-finalists and unexpected deep runs.
