All Eyes On Belfast For Premier League Darts Night 4
Another Thursday and another night of Premier League Darts action awaits, with Belfast’s SSE Arena hosting what should be a cracking night on the oche.
Luke Littler has yet to click into gear yet during the early stages of the campaign, with ‘The Nuke’ lying sixth in the Premier League Darts table ahead of Thursday evening.
His opponent, Welsh star Jonny Clayton, is the early pacesetter at the top of the table. Clayton has won five games already this season and he won Night 3 in Glasgow, defeating Gian van Veen 6-2 in the final.
The world number five leads the way on nine points while Michael van Gerwen is close behind on eight points. His compatriot, the aforementioned Van Veen, is next up on six points with Gerwyn Price on five points.
Next up we have Littler and Luke Humphries, who are both level on four points heading into Thursday night. Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock have endured tough starts to the Premier League Darts calendar, failing to pick up a single point so far.
Premier League Darts Night Four Schedule:
- 7.15pm – Luke Littler vs Jonny Clayton
- 7.45pm – Stephen Bunting vs Luke Humphries
- 8.15pm – Michael van Gerwyn vs Gerwyn Price
- 8.45pm – Gian van Veen vs Josh Rock
Luke Littler vs Jonny Clayton
A close contest but Littler can strut his stuff and he’s the one to beat. 6-3.
Stephen Bunting vs Luke Humphries
Expect Bunting to put up a fight but Humphries should prove too strong if on-song. 6-4.
Michael van Gerwyn vs Gerwyn Price
A cracking contest on paper and one that is usually fiercely competitive. Price can edge it. 6-5.
Gian van Veen vs Josh Rock
Van Veen can blow Rock away. If the Dutchman gets into a rhythm early, he’ll be hard to leg back. 6-3.
