With the Premier League Darts table really starting to take shape, the players head to Cardiff for week seven of the competition.

The action will take place at the Utilita Arena in the heart of Cardiff, getting underway on Thursday evening.

We preview the four quarter-finals below and take a look at how each player could progress through the night.

Chris Dobey v Stephen Bunting

Night Seven’s opening fixture is what many would describe as a pillow fight, as the bottom two in the table fight it out. Despite having yet to put a point on the board, Stephen Bunting is the 4/5 favourite to progress to the semi-finals.

Dobey’s record in the 2025 competition isn’t much better, having progressed to the semis just once with only three points to his name. He’s the narrow underdog here at Evens. Bunting simply has not found his best darts this year and with Dobey somewhat of a 180-hitting machine we like the look of him in the 180s Match Bet market at 21/20.

The winner of this tie will face either Michael van Gerwen or Luke Humphries in the semi-finals, hence they’re both wide outsiders at 14/1 apiece to win the night.

Luke Humphries v Michael van Gerwen

In contrast, the second game of the night is a seriously high-quality affair with two former World Champions going head-to-head. Humphries has been the more formidable of the two in this year’s Premier League, racking up 15 points to sit second in the table. He’s 8/15 to head into the semi-finals.

Michael van Gerwen hasn’t been at his dominant best this year and he currently sits fourth in the table with 10 points. His preparation for this week hasn’t been great either, as he was the only player in the Premier League to compete in the Players Championship in Germany, where he averaged just 89.91 in a shock 6-3 loss to German Niko Springer.

With that in mind we’re going against the 6/4 underdog here and taking Humphries to win with a -1.5 leg handicap at 5/6.

Luke Littler v Nathan Aspinall

Last year’s champion has been in flying form again this year and on Night Seven, Luke Littler is the favourite to remain top of the league and win the night at 11/8. With that in mind, it’s hardly surprising to see him as the 1/6 favourite to win his quarter-finals matchup with Nathan Aspinall.

Aspinall has a mountain to climb this week and that’s reflected in his odds of 4/1 to win the opener and 28/1 to win Night Seven.

You can’t really look past Littler here and although it may take him a leg or two to get into his stride, we fancy him to progress to the final four with no real problems and 5/1 can be taken about him to beat Aspinall 6-4.

Gerwyn Price v Rob Cross

The headline quarter-final of the night pits hometown hero and Night Six winner Gerwyn Price against Rob Cross. The Welshman currently finds himself third in the table on 12 points and is the 8/11 favourite to make it through this matchup.

Cross would no doubt love to cause an upset in the quarter-finals and he shouldn’t be easily overlooked at 11/10. The value, however, looks to lie with Price. 7/1 for him to win Night Seven looks good value given his recent form and the support of the Cardiff crowd, something which he isn’t necessarily used to.
