It’s day six of the William Hill World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace and we have another eight matches over two sessions, while I have a couple of tips to have a look at – and as a double, it returns a nice sum.
Stephen Bunting vs Jose Justicia
Stephen Bunting has been a bit hit and miss with his form over the last few years, however, when he turns up with his A game he is a force to be reckoned with. The word is that he is playing well at the moment so I am with him winning this one.
Jose Justicia did have a good game when beating Arron Monk, however, he will need to tighten his game up to beat Bunting on Wednesday.
I’m going for a Bunting win and -1.5 sets on the handicap at 7/10.
Gabriel Clemens vs Benito van de Pas
Gabriel Clemens has taken over as the German number one and is still improving on his game. I see this player making the top 16 in the world rankings as he has a good, strong scoring game and certainly knows where the double is under pressure.
Benito van de Pas has really lost his form over the last two years, as he was previously one of the best players coming out of the Netherlands to stand alongside Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld. He has qualified for this tournament so that will give him confidence, but he will need to find that game of a few years ago to win this one.
I’m going for a Clemens win and -1.5 sets on the handicap at 7/10.
The double of both Bunting and Clemens winning -1.5 on the handicap pays out at around 7/4.
