It’s day seven of the William Hill World Darts Championship and we have already seen history created this week, with Fallon Sherrock becoming the first woman to win in the tournament.

Her defeat of the young up-and-coming star Ted Evetts sent waves across the event and her next opponent Mensur Suljovic will certainly need to be at his best.

For Thursday’s action, I have picked out two doubles that I feel could pay dividends.

Justin Pipe vs Benjamin Pratnemer

A few years ago, Justin Pipe was a regular in the top 16 of the world rankings and had produced a number of great performances on the European Tour. However, his form has dipped over the last couple of years, though just lately there have been signs that perhaps he is on the right path back. He will certainly be up for this one, especially on this World Darts Championship stage as he feels he has a score to settle from last year.

Pipe looks worth supporting on the match trebles market at even-money.

Dave Chisnall vs Vincent van der Voort

Dave Chisnall has shown some great form over the last year and with that comes plenty of 180s. His opponent Vincent van der Voort is also in a good vein of form, and like Chisnall, hits plenty of 180s so over 9.5 180s looks the obvious bet here at 8/11.

The Pipe match treble and Chisnall vs Van der Voort over 9.5 180s pays just over 5/2.

John Henderson vs James Richardson

John Henderson just has the edge in this match for me as he leads the scoring power and hits those doubles a little bit more consistently than his opponent. He should win this one at 8/15.

Dave Chisnall vs Vincent van der Voort

Back to this tie, and Chisnall should just have a tighter game in this match and although they both miss doubles under pressure it’s Chizzy who should have enough to take out the Dutchman at 2/5.

The Henderson-Chisnall double pays just over even-money.
