I have got to start off with telling you that again I nailed it on Friday with my tips.

The tip was a double of Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall both winning with the William Hill treble, which paid over 4/1 – a very good value bet, so if you are not following me then it’s time to do so.

My double for Saturday may not pay as much as Friday’s did, however, it’s a winning bet nevertheless.

Daryl Gurney vs Justin Pipe

Daryl Gurney has got great scoring power that matches anyone and he is now a seasoned professional that knows how to close a big game out, while his major TV wins have given him an extra boost of confidence.

Although on his day Justin Pipe can match most of them, he will need to find his A-plus game here or hope that Gurney has an off day.

Gurney to win -1.5 sets seems a great bet at 8/11 as well as Gurney to secure the most 180s at 8/15.

Adrian Lewis vs Cristo Reyes

Adrian Lewis has won this event twice and back-to-back wins at that. However, he has not had the best of it over the last couple of years, though there are a few signs that he is getting his confidence back. With that comes a great scoring game so I am hoping he will get out of the gate quickly and put in a good shift.

Cristo Reyes burst on to the scene at this event a few years back and had some success following that over the next couple of years. However, he has not had the best of it coming into the World Darts Championship.

Reyes did struggle at times in his first match, only just getting over the line. He does throw some great legs but it’s the dull patches that are getting him beat.

I just think that Lewis will get out of the gate quickly and get the confidence going to push on and win this.

I’m going for Lewis to win at 2/5 and to secure the most 180s at 4/6.

Both Lewis and Gurney to have the most 180s in their games pays around the 7/4 mark.
