Bayern Munich have got their man! Harry Kane has completed a £95m move to the European giants, ending a 19-year association with Tottenham.

Kane has signed a four-year deal in Munich and will be hoping to end his long wait for silverware given Bayern’s standing both in Germany and the Champions League.

Let’s take a look at how Kane’s move has affected the betting markets for Bayern and Spurs…

After securing an 11th successive league title last season, their 32nd of all time, Bayern were already favourites to be Bundesliga champions this season. And the arrival of Kane has only strengthened their position in the market. They’re 2/7 favourites.

Bayern are also favourites to lift the DFB-Pokal at 13/8, while they are second favourites to conquer Europe and win the Champions League at 11/2.

If you fancy Kane to score on his debut in today’s German Super Cup, he’s 13/5 to net the opening goal and 13/20 to score at any time. Kane announcing himself with a hat-trick against Leipzig is 12/1.

Kane’s goalscoring record is phenomenal, particularly playing in a side that have struggled to challenge for honours in England. He leaves the Premier League 47 goals behind Alan Shearer’s all-time record of 260 goals.

The 30-year-old has immediately been installed as 4/9 favourite to be the Bundesliga top scorer in 2023/24.

As for Spurs, they’re 3/1 to finish in the top four in the Premier League, behind Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea and Newcastle.
