Bournemouth vs Leicester predictions: odds and team news
The Foxes are tipped as 9/5 favourites in William Hill’s Leicester v Bournemouth odds, with the Poppies currently betting as 7/5, and a draw priced at 5/2.
Under Eddie Howe, Bournemouth have slowly developed into a well-drilled, high-functioning team. They are disciplined in both attack and defence and this has showed in recent performances.
Ryan Fraser has been key for Howe in both creating attacking chances as well as breaking up possession in the centre of the pitch. If he is chosen to play, we’re predicting that he will help contain the Leicester counter.
On the other hand, the Foxes have also impressed under Claude Puel. A string of high-quality performances, which also featured a game against Liverpool where they were unlucky to lose, has put them in the headlines, tipping them as favourites to win as part of our Bournemouth vs Leicester predictions.
The returning Jamie Vardy will be a welcome inclusion for Puel and his pace and pressing off the ball will assist the Foxes in breaking Bournemouth’s high line. As first goal scorer, he’s our pick, with odds of 4/1. Howe’s men will need to be wary of his presence in and around the back four if they are to starve him of chances, as he has previously scored nine of Leicester’s last 17 away goals.
Head-to-head: (most recent first) Leicester 1-1 Bournemouth, 0-0, 1-1, Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester, 0-0, 1-1, Bournemouth 1-0 Leicester, Leicester 2-1 Bournemouth

Score prediction: 2-2 draw: odds @ 11/1
There have only been seven goals in the last six Premier League meetings between the two sides, suggesting that this weekend’s clash will be just as close of an encounter.
Yet, both Bournemouth and Leicester possess good attacking talent and defensive rigidity, so perhaps a draw would be a fair result.
Best bet: under 0.5 goals scored: odds @ 8/1
There is every chance that very few goals will be scored due to the defensive setup of both sides.
Leicester can revert to a back five if they are being countered, with Bournemouth also able to make the switch.
First scorer: Callum Wilson to score first: odds @ 9/2
Callum Wilson has had a hand in four goals in his last five Premier League games, with three goals and one assist. He has been Bournemouth’s star player, and is our pick to be in the thick of the action come Saturday.
Wilson has often played in a more central role for Bournemouth, but he will need to track back in order to ensure that Bournemouth remain compact against the Foxes.
