| BY News Team

In typical fashion, the first leg of the semi-finals produced some high-octane action, as all four teams are still in with a chance of making it to Wembley, heading into the second leg games with all still to play for.

We have seen the final four teams left in the competition battle it out in their respective first leg ties, all eyes look towards the all-important second legs which will determine who’ll face off in the most prestigious final of men’s club football, the Champions League Final.

We preview both of the second leg ties below.

Paris Saint-Germain v Borussia Dortmund – Tuesday 7th 20:00

Paris Saint-Germain will hope home advantage can be their saviour following their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of this tie. Although seemingly the more dominant side with plenty more possession than their opposition, PSG struggled to find their cutting edge and have work to do should they still see themselves worthy of a spot in the final.

As it stands, the Parisian outfit look destined for victory as they enter as 1/2 favourites to win the match, and 4/6 to win the tie altogether. PSG will need their star men to find their shooting boots having failed to hit the back of the net in the opening game, and all eyes will undoubtedly be on the one and only Kylian Mbappe, who is 1/2 to score anytime during the match. Should the onus fall on one of his teammates, Gonçalo Ramos has been backed to assume the responsibility and etch his name on the scoresheet at 23/20, ahead of both Randal Kolo Muani (17/10) and Ousmane Dembélé (23/10).

Dortmund had a dreamy opener, but would have hoped for a larger cushion as they still have a tough fight ahead of them to keep PSG at bay, shown by their price of 9/2 to win the second leg, and a shorter 11/10 to make it through to the final. With 36 minutes on the clock, it was the German talisman Niclas Füllkrug who managed to score past Gianluigi Donnarumma following Nico Schlotterbeck’s ball over the top. Understandably, Füllkrug remains the market leader to score again in this fixture at 23/10, with Sébastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko alongside each other in the betting at 13/5.

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich – Wednesday 8th 20:00

Arguably the higher-profile clash of the two is that of Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich, which ended an exciting 2-2 stalemate when the teams met last week. This is an extremely familiar matchup for both teams, with this game being the 28th time the two have come up against each other in competitive fixtures.

Real Madrid do have the home advantage here, though, and their match odds of 10/11 certainly display this, with a price of 1/2 to proceed into the final. Vinicius Junior was the star of the show for Los Blancos in the opening leg, netting twice, and is 5/4 to do so again here. Jude Bellingham, who has been Madrid’s starboy this season, has also received plenty of support in the goalscoring market, with a price of 11/8 to net against his former rivals. Joselu remains the third favourite at 13/8.

Should Bayern defy their odds of 11/4 to win the game inside 90 minutes (6/4 for the tie), we could see an all-German final for the first time in over 10 years. The Bavarians have plenty of firepower at their disposal, and Harry Kane will be expected to add to his tally of 44 goals this season, priced at 11/8 to follow up his first leg goal with another on Wednesday. Promising youngster Mathys Tel is next in the betting at 23/10, but it would be wise not to discount Leroy Sané at 7/2, after his goal drew Bayern level in last week’s tie.
