WE are into the final quarter of our mesmerising EFL Championship campaign with so many issues still to be resolved.

This weekend sees action impacting on promotion, Play-Off and relegation slots. Indeed, the top three sides prepare for winnable home fixtures. Championship betting interest is therefore reaching fever pitch.

Here are the upcoming pairings alongside my considered score predictions to assist your football betting…

Coventry City v Southampton

Kick-off: 12.30pm

Score prediction: Boro back on track 4-2.

Millwall v Blackburn Rovers

Rankings: 3rd versus 20th

Millwall preview – Dramatically rising to one point beneath those automatic promotion rungs after six wins peppering seven Championship encounters that brought merely one defeat.

Millwall haven’t graced the top flight of English football since 1990.

Blackburn Rovers preview – Three losses amid four winless Championship engagements. It leaves Rovers one point above the dreaded dotted relegation line.

Sheffield Wednesday v Ipswich Town

Sheffield Wednesday preview – Tuesday’s spirited 1-1 home draw against Watford terminated a dismal run of 14 League and Cup defeats.

But some 18 points deducted by the EFL for financial issues means already relegated Wednesday slumber rock bottom nursing minus 6 points. Furthermore, only one 2025/26 Championship win – namely 2-0 away to Portsmouth on Saturday 20th September.

Ipswich Town preview – Four points below second place. The Tractor Boys presently possess five unbeaten performances drawing the last two.

West Bromwich Albion v Hull City
