It leaves them an insurmountable 17 points adrift of survival. They’ve won once all season – which was 2-0 at Portsmouth on September 20th – yet can take heart from Saturday’s battling scoreless draw away to West Bromwich Albion.

Norwich City preview – Canaries boss Liam Manning continues to walk the most precarious of tight ropes. I don’t think he will keep his job much longer. Four points short of safety due to nine matches without collecting maximum points and losing the last six.
