Chelsea host a Crystal Palace side that ended Arsenal’s eight game win streak with a credible 2-2 draw. Sarri’s men won emphatically against Burnley and sit just two points behind the league leaders.
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Odds and predictions
Chelsea stand as the overwhelming betting favourites with their odds of victory figured at 27/100 whilst the William Hill traders have priced up a win for Palace at a 9/1 pick.
A draw is trading at 5/1 but our Chelsea vs Crystal Palace predictions foresee nothing but a comfortable result for the Blues.
Maurizio Sarri’s men have been in superb from this season with only Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham preventing them from winning this campaign.
A 4-0 drubbing of Burnley last week further evidenced the rise of a new crop of English midfielders in Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek with Barkley in particular reaping the benefits of a world class coach in Sarri.
Barkley is doing very well in this period. He improved in the defensive phase, improved very much. He improved his physical condition because the last season for him was really very difficult. He’s a very good player from the technical point of view. Now I think Ross is complete.
Palace on the other hand have failed to arrest a slump in form that has seen them fail to win any of their last five Premier League games. A credible draw with Arsenal last weekend did however end a run of three consecutive defeats.
Head-to-Head record (most recent first): Chelsea 2-1 Crystal Palace, Crystal Palace 2-1 Chelsea, Chelsea 2-1 Crystal Palace, Crystal Palace 0-1 Chelsea, Crystal Palace 0-3 Chelsea.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace predictions: correct score, best bet, assist tips
Correct score: Total match goals Over 3.5 goals at odds of 13/10
The first part of our Chelsea vs Crystal Palace predictions are backing a high-scoring affair with the truck-load of shots Chelsea are putting away something you should keep an eye on.
The results of their last four games read as so: Chelsea 4-0 Burnley, Chelsea 3-1 BATE, Chelsea 2-2 Man United and Southampton 0-3 Chelsea.
With an average of nearly four goals a game, the Blues have seemingly flicked the switch on and suddenly brought the best out of marginalised players like Alvaro Morata and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The Eagles meanwhile have conceded two goals in each of their last games and our Total Match Goals: Over 3.5 goals bet is on offer at a 13/10 pick.
Best bet: Eden Hazard to score first 16/5
The Belgian wizard has been recently sidelined with a back injury but Sarri confirmed he would be fit and raring to face Palace.
With seven league goals already, the playmaker is enjoying his most productive start to a season in England.
Eden Hazard has actually opened the scoring for his Chelsea side on four different occasions already in the Premier League this season, doing so against Newcastle, Cardiff City, Liverpool and Southampton.
He seems to have a knack for it and the second instalment of our Chelsea vs Crystal Palace predictions reckon Hazard will do again with enticing 16/5 odds being offered by the William Hill traders.
Goal-scorer prediction: Ross Barkley to score anytime, odds of 17/10
The 24-year-old made only four appearances in all competitions for Chelsea last season as his season was blighted by injuries. Things seemed uncertain across the summer and he missed a call-up to the England squad for the World Cup in Russia.
But a warm embrace and arm around the shoulder from head coach Sarri has changed everything and offered the midfielder a lifeline at Chelsea.
His recent turn of form has propelled back into the England squad and pushed marquee loan signing Matteo Kovacic to the sidelines.
With three goals and three assists in his last four appearances for the West London club – including scoring in three consecutive games – Barkley is enjoying a fine patch of form and features in our Chelsea vs Crystal Palace predictions and betting tips as our bet for anytime goalscorer.
