Chloe Kelly Backed In Sports Personality Of The Year Odds After Lionesses Victory

Chloe Kelly has been popular with punters in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year betting market after scoring the winning penalty for England in the Women’s Euro 2025 final.

Priced at 16/1 in sports betting odds for the individual award before Sunday’s showpiece, Kelly is now just 13/8 to win the SPOTY crown after helping the Lionesses to win back-to-back European titles.

Kelly assisted Alessia Russo for England’s equaliser before dispatching the winning penalty in the shootout. Hannah Hampton played a key role for the Lionesses in the shootout, saving two Spain spot-kicks.

The goalkeeper was another player to shorten in Sports Personality of the Year odds, with Hampton now available at 13/2 (from 33/1) to win the award later this year.

Chloe Kelly has been a hugely important figure in women’s football over the past few years. Many will believe that she stands an excellent chance of clinching the SPOTY award in December 2025 – and she’s certainly worthy of being in the mix.
