Declan Rice odds for PFA Player of the Year, Ballon d’Or & SPOTY

Arsenal midfielder odds-on for PFA Player of the Year (8/11); contender for Ballon d’Or (6/1) and SPOTY (18/1)

Declan Rice is in contention for a trio of major accolades this year with leading bookmaker William Hill, as the Arsenal and England star is fancied to compete for PFA Player of the Year, Ballon d’Or and BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.

In the latest PFA Player of the Year betting, Rice leads the way at 8/11 ahead of Erling Haaland (7/4), with Bruno Fernandes priced 7/1 followed by Gabriel Magalhães (9/1) and Antoine Semenyo (20/1).

For Ballon d’Or, Kylian Mbappé is the 2/1 favourite, in front of Harry Kane (7/2) and Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal (4/1), with Rice right in among the contenders at 6/1.

Rice is also in the running for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award at 18/1, but Team GB’s Winter Olympics star Matt Weston currently heads the betting at 7/2 after his two gold medals in Milano-Cortina, with George Russell and Harry Kane both 8/1.

PFA Player of the Year 2025/26:

Declan Rice – 8/11

Erling Haaland – 7/4

Bruno Fernandes – 7/1

Gabriel Magalhães – 9/1

Antoine Semenyo – 20/1

BAR – 40/1

Ballon d’Or 2026:

Kylian Mbappe – 2/1

Harry Kane – 7/2

Lamine Yamal – 4/1

Declan Rice – 6/1

Erling Haaland – 8/1

BAR – 20/1

BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2026:

Matt Weston – 7/2

George Russell – 8/1

Harry Kane – 8/1

Luke Littler – 8/1

Lando Norris – 12/1

Rory McIlroy – 16/1

Tommy Fleetwood – 16/1

Jack Draper – 16/1

Keely Hodgkinson – 18/1

Declan Rice – 18/1

BAR – 20/1

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Declan Rice is fast becoming one of the defining players of this Premier League season, and that’s reflected across a selection of our awards markets. He’s odds‑on at 8/11 to be crowned PFA Player of the Year, ahead of Erling Haaland (7/4) in the betting.

“Rice is also well fancied to compete for the Ballon d’Or (6/1), but will have to beat the likes of Kylian Mbappe (2/1) and England captain Harry Kane (7/2) to the prestigious prize. Even in the race to be named BBC Sports Personality of the Year, Rice is in the conversation at 18/1 but he’ll need an impressive trophy haul this year to pull ahead of Team GB sensation Matt Weston (7/2).

“If Arsenal were to get over the line in the Premier League title race or England finally deliver on the biggest stage at the 2026 World Cup, he’d be right in the mix for SPOTY and those prices would only go one way.”
