Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele strengthened his position as Ballon d’Or favourite following two assists in the 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in May’s Champions League final.

Sports betting odds at William Hill have Dembele priced up as the 1/2 favourite, cut from 13/8, while Lamine Yamal is next in the market at 11/4.

The France international was key to PSG’s success in Europe’s elite club competition this season, scoring eight goals while recording six assists in 15 appearances.

Meanwhile, Dembele finished the Ligue 1 season with an incredible 27 goal involvements in 29 games. He was level with former Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood on 21 league goals while Dembele also notched six assists throughout the league campaign.

Mohamed Salah was once regarded as the Ballon d’Or favourite but he’s drifted out to 9/1 while Raphinha is currently priced at 10/1 to win the award. Dembele’s teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has also been key to PSG’s success and he is a 16/1 chance at this stage.

“He overtakes Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who was favourite for the award prior to Saturday’s final at 6/4 – he’s now out to 11/4. Mohamed Salah (9/1) and Raphinha’s (10/1) races for the honour may be run after PSG’s victory, having both been favourites for the award earlier this season.”

Paris Saint-Germain recorded the biggest win in Champions League final history when beating Inter 5-0 at Allianz Arena, Munich on Saturday 31st May 2025 and Dembele played a pivotal role in that history-making victory.
