Championship Double: Tractor Boys for BTTS & Win, Saints to Keep Rolling at 19/20

Portsmouth welcome Ipswich Town to Fratton Park on Tuesday evening, whilst Blackburn also head to the south coast to take on an in-form Southampton side looking to continue their climb up the EFL Championship table.

William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews the action from Fratton Park and St Mary’s Stadium.

Portsmouth v Ipswich prediction: Both Teams To Score & Ipswich To Win (3/1).

Southampton v Blackburn prediction: Match Result and 2 or More Goals in the Match – Southampton (19/20).

Portsmouth v Ipswich Odds – Tuesday, 8pm

  • Portsmouth – 13/5
  • Draw – 5/2
  • Ipswich – 10/11

Two sides with two different objectives, Portsmouth will be looking for three points to move them closer to survival, whilst Ipswich Town need three points to extend their gap in the automatic promotion places, with both sides winning at the weekend.

Portsmouth stopped their eight game winless streak on Saturday afternoon with a last minute winner at Middlesbrough to keep them out of the bottom three but only by a point, whilst Ipswich sit in second with a 2 point gap to Millwall and two games in hand. The last three league games between these two sides have seen both teams find the back of the net, with Ipswich winning in two of those.

Southampton v Blackburn Odds  Tuesday, 8pm

  • Southampton – 8/13
  • Draw – 11/4
  • Blackburn – 4/1

Southampton continue to climb the EFL Championship table having lost none of their last seventeen games in all competitions, thirteen of which have come in the league (W10, D3), another three points here would see the Saints move up to fourth. The visitors aren’t quite safe jut yet and continue to look over their shoulder with the gap to the bottom three now at just four points.

Blackburn won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in October but this is a different Southampton side, they’ve won their last five home games in all competitions with four of those producing at least two goals, at 19/20 it’s hard to ignore more of the same in this one with a home victory.
