England Women are currently playing some of the best football of their careers and with the Euros on the horizon, should head into their friendly with Switzerland full of confidence.

Switzerland struggling for form

Unable to register a win in five matches since November, Switzerland have had a difficult opening to 2022 and will hope to at least get on the score sheet in the precursor to their Euros campaign. They are currently a 50/1 chance to land the Euros.

Though Switzerland have struggled in front of goal in recent fixtures, they do carry a threat in attack and are 29/10 to score the first match of the fixture.

Winning six games in a row up until their last victory, Switzerland suddenly dropped in form and have only scored three goals in their last five matches, conceding 14 in the process. Last week they were on the wrong end of a 7-0 thrashing by Germany and will have to improve dramatically if they are to avoid a similar scenario here. Their poor form sees them go into the fixture as underdogs at 17/2 to win in 90 minutes.

History could play a part in the match as the odd draw between the two does tend to crop up. England have won four out of the last four fixtures against Switzerland but the chance of a draw in this game is quite likely at 29/10, with the correct score of 1-1 at 13/2.
