Shamrock Rovers fell short in their UEFA Champions League qualification campaign losing out to Ararat Armenia on aggregate despite winning the second leg 2-1 last week, it now means that the Hoops will now look to settle for Europa League football.
Rovers will have to get past Albanian side Egnatia if they are to secure UEL group football for the first time since the 2011/2012 campaign, they’ll want to make the most of this first leg advantage and come into this having lost just one of their last five games in all competitions.
Shamrock Rovers have been solid at the Tallaght Stadium, unbeaten here in their last six outings following five victories and one draw, whilst they’ve won their last three European fixtures on home soil, William Hill make the Hoops the slight favourites at 10/11 to win this first leg.

Egnatia will feel hard done by in terms of their Champions League dreams having lost out on penalties against Celje following a 5-5 draw on aggregate, they’ve never actually made it to the ‘proper’ stage of a European competition but even a defeat here would give them another chance of Conference League qualification.
The Albanian side travel to Dublin having lost none of their last seven games, whilst they’ve not suffered a defeat in any of their last eight European matches within the regular 90 minutes, proving they’re a difficult side to beat.
Shamrock Rovers may have the slight advantage here given Egnatia have won just three of their last eight away games in all competitions, one of which coming in a friendly, punters can back Egnatia at 13/5 with William Hill to win this on the night.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
