Analysing The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Favourites

Despite missing out on La Liga and Champions League this season, Real Madrid are favourites to win the Club World Cup at 4/1.

Los Blancos will have an array of talent in their squad, including new signings from the Premier League, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.

Newly-crowned European champions PSG are at 5/1 alongside Man City; while Inter Milan are 9/1 and Conference League winners Chelsea are 10/1.

Outside of the European teams, Palmeiras and Flamengo are both priced at 33/1, while Argentine heavyweights Boca Juniors and River Plate are 50/1.

Players To Watch This Summer

European-based players top the betting for the two player markets for the Club World Cup, with Kylian Mbappe leading the way for the top goalscorer and Golden Ball.

The Golden Shoe (top scorer award) has only been awarded once in the competition’s history and was shared by Nicolas Anelka (Real Madrid) and the great Romario (Vasco da Gama) in 2000. Both players netted three times.

Mbappe is the favourite to win it this year after scoring 41 goals (all comps) in his debut season at Real Madrid, winning La Liga’s top scorer in the process.

Elsewhere, Erling Haaland (31 goals), Harry Kane (38 goals) and Ousmane Dembele (33 goals, 13 assists) are high on the list. Lionel Messi could be good value at 20/1, while Champions League final star Desire Doue is 25/1.

Check out the Club World Cup Top Goalscorer odds.

The Golden Ball award for the best player is decided by a FIFA panel after the tournament. It has previously been won by Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.

Mbappe again leads the way, with 2022 winner Vinicius Junior his nearest competitor at 5/1. You can get 11/2 on Dembele, with Doue at 8/1 and Messi 18/1. England duo Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane are both priced at 16/1.
