Final One Standing by numbers: Most Popular Picks

With the first international break of the new Premier League season upon us, it’s the perfect time to pause and look back at the opening three gameweeks of Final One Standing.
Thousands of players have already tested their instincts in our new free-to-play game and here we’ll recap the most popular picks so far, highlighting where most people got it right (or wrong).
Week One
The opening round saw Tottenham emerge as the clear fan favourite. A massive 29% of players put their faith in Spurs to get the job done against Burnley.
It proved to be a smart move. Spurs delivered the win, sending nearly a third of the player base safely into Week Two.
Not only did this establish Tottenham as an early “go-to” pick, but it also set the tone for their role as one of the most trusted sides in the competition so far.
Week Two
If Spurs led the way in Week One, it was Arsenal’s turn in Week Two. The Gunners were by far the most selected team, with 46,949 players – 41.5% of the total pool – choosing them to keep their run going.
That kind of dominance shows the confidence players had in Arsenal’s fixture, and it paid off. Arsenal delivered the result, rewarding those who went with the crowd and ensuring that almost half of the player base moved safely into Gameweek Three.

Week Three
Gameweek Three shifted the focus to Old Trafford. 35.4% of players (27,029 in total) pinned their hopes on Manchester United.
United didn’t disappoint. They got the win, allowing those thousands of backers to survive and advance into Gameweek Four after the international break.
It was another example of players leaning toward big-name clubs and being rewarded for their faith, but these teams will run out at some point.
Overall Top Pick:
When looking at the bigger picture across the opening three rounds, Tottenham stand out as the most popular overall pick, being selected in 19% of all choices made so far.
Their early fixtures offered plenty of promise: Burnley at home, followed by clashes with Man City and Bournemouth. Spurs rewarded their backers in the first two rounds, beating both Burnley and City.
But momentum doesn’t last forever. In Week Three, more than 5,000 players put their trust in Spurs to beat Bournemouth at home. Instead, Tottenham stumbled to a 0–1 defeat, ending the journey for thousands of hopefuls who had been riding their form.
Lowest Picked Side
Across the first three Gameweeks of Final One Standing, Fulham have been the least backed side. Only 0.3% of players picked them, amounting to just 1,345 total selections. However it is understandable as Fulham have had a very difficult first three games in Brighton, Man Utd and Chelsea.
Of course, Fulham have not won in their first three games so unfortunately these players will all be out of the main game. However, if you were knocked out in Week One of Final One Standing, you can enter the £50k guaranteed jackpot league this week!
