Robbie Savage’s picks
First up Robbie has gone for Sheffield United v Southampton in the Premier League. The last two meetings between the sides in the top flight saw three and four goals scored, with the Saints winning on both occasions. The Blades come into this one after a midweek win against Aston Villa and will be hoping to secure another three points in their quest for survival.
Next up in the Scottish Premiership, Sav has selected Rangers v St Mirren. The Gers have scored five goals in the last two top flight fixtures against the Paisley side, and will be looking to notch a few goals at Ibrox with the home advantage.
Robbie’s second pick in the Scottish Premiership is Aberdeen v Hamilton. With eight goals scored in the last two meetings between these teams, Robbie is hoping for an influx of goals. The Dons sit in fourth place and will be favourites to put bottom of the table Hamilton to the sword at Pittodrie.
Moving to the Championship, and Sav fancies three or four goals in the battle between Barnsley v Birmingham. The Tykes stole the show earlier in the season against Blues with a 2-1 win, and they are on a roll of five wins on the bounce heading into this one. Birmingham sit fourth from bottom, and Robbie thinks this has the makings of a goal-fest.
Staying in the Championship and Robbie has gone for Norwich v Luton. The Canaries are flying at the top of the table, sitting 10 points clear of their nearest contenders, and they are high in confidence. Mid-table Luton have a good record against Norwich, however, winning 3-1 in the last two clashes.
And finally, Sav has gone for Brentford v Rotherham in the Championship. The Bees are the league’s top scorers and sit second in the place for automatic promotion. They have put 11 goals past the Millers in the last three matches, and Sav is expecting more of the same in his final Free Or 4 pick for the week.
