Free or 4 returns as William Hill ambassador Robbie Savage shares his tips for what is set to be an exciting weekend of football.

Free or 4 is William Hill’s free-to-play game in which players simply need to pick six games that will have either three or four goals in them. Choose from Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Scottish Premiership, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One or Scottish League Two for a chance to win up to £200 in free bets! Five out of six correct picks can earn you a £5 bet, with four out of six winning you a £1 bet.

Read on to discover Robbie’s Free or 4 predictions for the weekend ahead.

Robbie Savage’s picks

First up for Robbie is the Premier League clash Liverpool v Aston Villa, which, if history is anything to go by, should be set to deliver plenty of goals on Saturday. The last four meetings between these two sides have seen a mammoth 21 goals scored, including Aston Villa’s 7-2 thrashing of the Reds earlier this season. Both Liverpool and Villa also recorded three and four goal wins against Arsenal and Fulham respectively in the league last weekend and will be hoping for more of the same here.

Next up for Sav is the Scottish Premiership, where he has opted for the top-five clash Celtic v Livingston. Neither team are strangers to scoring a few goals this term and have netted a cool 106 league goals between them in the 2020/21 campaign. Their last clash in January at Livingston witnessed four goals as the two sides played out a 2-2 draw and Robbie is backing a similar scoreline on Saturday.

It’s over to the Championship next for Robbie with Bournemouth v Coventry his third pick of the weekend. There’s plenty at stake for both clubs in this one with the Cherries battling it out for a play-off spot and the Sky Blues fighting to avoid relegation, so a few goals will be at the top of the agenda for the duo on Saturday. Coventry fans may have cause for concern, though, with only two teams having scored more Championship goals this season than Bournemouth’s total of 60.

Staying in the Championship, Sav’s next selection has seen him plump for Derby v Norwich. One of those aforementioned teams to have scored more goals than Bournemouth this season has been Norwich, who have scored 64 to fire them eight points clear at the top of the table – and they can continue their charge to the Premier League with a few more goals against Derby on Saturday. Derby lost their last match 3-1 and the Canaries will be out to inflict a similar result on Wayne Rooney’s men this weekend.

Robbie’s final selection in the Championship is Preston v Brentford. We’ve already mentioned the Championship goal-scoring exploits of Bournemouth and Norwich, but it’s Brentford who lead the way in the division with a mighty 66 goals scored this term, so Preston’s defence could be in for a long afternoon come 3pm on Saturday. If the history books are anything to go by, this one should be full of goals: eight of the last 11 meetings between the two have seen three or more goals scored in them.

And finally for Sav, it’s over to League One for his last pick of the week, which sees him opt for Portsmouth v Burton. This fixture also has a tendency for a few goals, with each of the last four clashes between the two witnessing three goals or more. Burton recorded a 2-1 victory over Swindon last time out and the same result for the Brewers this week against Portsmouth would leave Robbie more than happy with his selection.
