Free or 4 returns as William Hill ambassador Robbie Savage shares his tips for what is set to be an exciting weekend of football. Find out who Sav is tipping for this week’s edition of Free or 4 below.
Free or 4 is William Hill’s free-to-play game in which players simply need to pick six games that will have either three or four goals in them. Choose from Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Scottish Premiership, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One or Scottish League Two for a chance to win up to £200 in free bets! First up Robbie has gone for Reading v Millwall in the Championship this weekend. The last five meetings between the sides have seen 12 goals scored, with two out of the Royals’ last three matches seeing four goals scored. Millwall also come into this one off the back of a 4-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday, so they’ll be out to inflict a similar scoreline on Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
Next up in the Championship, Sav has selected Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea. The Swans head to Hillsborough in fine form, having defeated top of the league Norwich and winning 3-1 away to Rotherham. Four of the last five matches between these sides have seen three or four goals, so Robbie will be hoping history repeats itself come 3pm on Saturday in Sheffield.
Robbie’s last pick in the Championship is Watford v Bristol City. The Hornets sit nine points above the Robins in fourth spot and will be hoping for a routine win in their quest for promotion. Two out of the last four matches involving Watford have ended 2-1, while there’s been 11 goals scored in the last four games involving Bristol City.
Moving down to League One, and Sav fancies three or four goals in the basement battle between evenly matched AFC Wimbledon v Rochdale. The home side are just one spot above the visitors in 18th place and are unbeaten against Rochdale in this division in eight matches. With 13 goals scored in the last three matches between the sides, Sav expects there to be a few more to add to that tally.
Staying in League One, and Robbie has gone for Blackpool v Peterborough. The Posh are amongst the highest scorers in the division as they battle for promotion, while the Seasiders are languishing in the bottom half of the table. With 17 goals scored in the last five meetings between these teams, Robbie is backing them to land him a Free Or Four selection.
And finally, Sav has gone for Aberdeen v St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership. The visitors come into this one after a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Celtic in midweek and will be hoping to put those wrongs to right. The Dons are fourth but in dire need of a victory, having gone four games without collecting a win. Sav has done his homework on this one, with two of the last four meetings ending in 2-1 scorelines.
