William Hill ambassador Robbie Savage and Matchroom Sport’s Eddie Hearn go head-to-head in this week’s Free or 4: Winner Stays On – but who will come out on top?
Free or 4 is our new free-to-play game in which players simply need to pick six games that will have either three or four goals in them. Choose from Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League, Championship, League One or League Two for a chance to win up to £200 in free bets!
To celebrate the launch of our new easy-to-enter game, which has a max weekly payout of £1 million, Free or 4: Winner Stays On will pit two participants against each other each week, with the one correctly predicting the most three- or four-goal games staying on to take part in the following week’s challenge against a new contestant.
Kicking things off is Robbie Savage and Eddie Hearn – so read on to discover their predictions and why they’ve gone for them.
First up, Robbie has chosen Chelsea vs Southampton, the only Saturday 3pm kick-off in the Premier League this weekend. Two out of Chelsea’s four Premier League games this season have featured four goals – against Brighton and Crystal Palace – while Danny Ings is in great form for Southampton and has three goals in four league games this term.
Next, it’s Barnsley vs Bristol City in the Championship for Robbie, with the last four games at Oakwell between these two teams having ended up 2-2.
Staying in the Championship, Robbie has Blackburn vs Nottingham Forest – and both teams scored in their last three meetings at Ewood Park, with an average of three goals per game in those matches. His former side are also the most potent in the Championship this season with 11 goals in four games.
Completing Robbie’s Championship picks, meanwhile, is Bournemouth vs QPR and the hosts are averaging three goals a game in the Championship this season.
Elsewhere, Robbie has Ipswich vs Accrington Stanley in League One. The table-topping Tractor Boys are the highest scorers with 11 goals in five games, while Ipswich’s Gwion Edwards is the league’s joint-top scorer with four goals.
As for his last pick, Robbie has chosen League Two’s Bolton vs Oldham. Oldham sit bottom of the table with their matches averaging four goals per game, having conceded 13 in five fixtures.

Like Robbie, Eddie has also chosen Chelsea vs Southampton for his first pick, while he has opted for Bournemouth vs QPR as well.
That’s where the similarities end, however, with Eddie next going for Brentford vs Coventry in the Championship. Both sides boast a player with three goals in his last four games – Ivan Toney for Brentford and Matt Godden for Coventry.
Staying in the Championship, Eddie has chosen Wycombe vs Millwall, with the hosts having the division’s worst defence, conceding 10 goals in four games this season.
In League One, Eddie has gone for Peterborough vs Oxford given Matchroom Boxing have the Lewis Ritson vs Miguel Vazquez fight in the city on Saturday.
And completing Eddie’s selection is League Two’s Carlisle vs Colchester given Colchester isn’t too far down the road from him.
