Free or 4: Winner Stays On – Robbie Savage takes on Sam Twiston-Davies

| BY News Team

Our ambassadors Robbie Savage and Sam Twiston-Davies go head-to-head in this week’s ‘Free or 4: Winner Stays On’ after Robbie saw off a challenge from David Alorka. Will Robbie finally be beaten?

Free or 4 is our new free-to-play game in which players simply need to pick six games that will have either three or four goals in them. Choose from Saturday 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Scottish Premiership, Scottish Championship, Scottish League One or Scottish League Two for a chance to win up to £200 in free bets! Five out of six correct picks can earn you a £5 bet, with four out of six winning you a £1 bet.

To celebrate the launch of our new game, ‘Free or 4: Winner Stays On’ will pit two participants against each other each week, with the one correctly predicting the most three or four-goal games staying on to take part in the following week’s challenge against a new contestant.

Robbie Savage has been unbeatable so far with victories against Eddie Hearn, Emma Jones and finally beating David Alorka after a draw in the first head-to-head between the two. Sav now faces leading Jump jockey Sam Twiston-Davies who is hoping to finally end Robbie’s run.

Read on to discover their predictions.

Robbie Savage

First up Robbie has gone for Aston Villa vs Brighton, the only Saturday 3pm kick-off in the Premier League this weekend. Villa have started the season very strongly and only Spurs and Chelsea have scored more than Dean Smith’s side in the top flight this season. Games involving the Villains in this campaign average 3.85 goals so far, with their opponents Brighton’s fixtures averaging just over 3.

Robbie has gone for Preston vs Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship – a fixture that has seen 13 goals scored in the last three meetings between the sides.

Next up, Sav has selected Swansea vs Rotherham, where the last meeting at the Liberty Stadium between these two saw the Swans win 4-3. Robbie is hoping for another high-scoring match on Saturday.

Onto League One and Robbie has plumped for Peterborough vs Blackpool, where the league’s top scorers and the Seasiders played out a 2-2 draw the last time they met at London Road. This fixture has seen 12 goals scored in the last three meetings.

In League Two, Robbie has opted for Southend vs Cambridge United. Bottom of the table Southend have conceded 25 in 12 matches this season, while the U’s have scored as many in the same games played.

And rounding off Sav’s selections this week is the clash between Hibernian vs Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, with the last three meetings between the capital side and Glasgow giants seeing 12 goals scored.

Sam Twiston-Davies

Like Robbie, Sam has also chosen Aston Villa vs Brighton for his first pick, while up next, he has opted for Bristol City vs Derby in the Championship, where there has been 12 scored in the last four meetings between the sides.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Sam has picked Luton vs Blackburn Rovers – a fixture that hasn’t had a goalless draw since 1978 – while, like Robbie, he has also gone for Preston vs Sheffield Wednesday.

In League One, Sam has chosen Ipswich vs Shrewsbury, with the Tractor Boys firing three goals past the Shrews with no reply when they met last season at Portman Road.

And finally, in League Two, Sam has backed Scunthorpe vs Morecambe, with the Iron running out 3-0 winners at Sands Venue last season in this fixture.
