- Ipswich bounced back to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but despite that achievement Kieran McKenna has departed, leaving Gary O’Neil to take charge as he looks to defy the betting odds and keep the Tractor Boys in the division.
- Ipswich got off to the perfect start on Saturday with a 2-1 victory against Sunderland thanks to a late Jack Clarke strike, victory in this one would secure a third round spot in the EFL Cup for the first time since the 2023/2024 campaign.
- The Tractor Boys have struggled against Leicester City in recent years, they’ve won none of their last eight meetings with the Foxes, with their last victory in this fixture coming back in 2013. However, times are different now and William Hill make Ipswich the 6/10 favourites to win this.
- Where to start with Leicester City, a dismal display last season resulted in the Foxes being relegated to EFL League One just 10 years after pulling off one of the most incredible achievements in world sport after winning the Premier League.
- Leicester City should have no troubles at all in League One but after the first two games of the campaign, there’s already questions being asked of manager Russell Martin having picked up just one point thus far.
- There’s a lot of issues with the Foxes at the moment and Saturday’s defeat to Burton against the odds will just make all the outside noise even louder, however is Punters fancy an away victory here, they can back Leicester at 7/2 with William Hill.
