With just four points separating the top two in La Liga, it’s still all to play for with just seven games remaining.

Barcelona will look to maintain their gap to Real Madrid at the top of La Liga, they welcome Celta Vigo in Matchday 32 on this campaign.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Saturday’s La Liga fixture:

FC Barcelona v Celta Vigo – Saturday, 3.15pm

  • Barcelona confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League semi-final on Tuesday night despite a 3-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on the night, Barca won the tie 5-3 on aggregate.
  • The quadruple is still on for Barcelona, having already won the Spanish Super Cup, they are also just seven games from claiming their twenty-eighth La Liga title, into the Copa del Rey final and will face Inter in those UCL semi-finals.
  • It’s been quite the turnaround from Hansi Flick’s side since these two sides met in November, Barcelona had a two goal lead with just six minutes to play but crumbled towards the end with ten men and ending up with just one point instead of three, at the time it looked like they had fluffed their lines in terms of the title.
    ——————————–
  • With just one defeat in their last nine La Liga games, Celta Vigo have really climbed the table and find themselves occupying the final European Spot in the league, whilst i’m sure The Sky Blues would be happy in the Conference League, they remain just five points off sixth and a Europa League spot.
  • Celta haven’t lost consecutive league games since January but that might chance if history is anything to go by, they’ve won away at Barcelona just once in their last ten meetings across all competitions.
  • We could be in for some more goals in this one though, nine of the last eleven meetings between these two sides have seen both teams find the back of the net.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Barcelona To Win, Barcelona 4-1 Celta Vigo.
