Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Tuesday’s La Liga fixture:
FC Barcelona v RCD Mallorca – Tuesday, 8.30pm
- The quadruple is still on for Barcelona, having already won the Spanish Super Cup, they are also just six games from claiming their twenty-eighth La Liga title, into the Copa del Rey final and will face Inter in those UCL semi-finals.
- This is Barcelona’s last La Liga fixture before their big showdown with Real Madrid in the Cope del Rey on Saturday evening. Hansi Flick’s side extended their unbeaten run in the league to thirteen games on Saturday in dramatic style, with a 98th minute winner from the penalty spot against Celta Vigo (4-3).
- Barca should be confident of extending that unbeaten run again here on Tuesday, they’ve not lost to Mallorca in their last seventeen meetings, whilst they’ve won each of their last six meetings on home soil.
——————————– - Mallorca are on track to secure a UEFA Europa League spot for next season which would be a huge achievement for the club, they occupy seventh place in La Liga at the time of writing.
- The Pirates will be disappointed not to head to Barcelona with consecutive victories under their belts, after beating Real Sociedad 2-0 away from home they followed that up with a goalless draw against Struggling Leganes.
- A victory here for Jagoba Arrasate’s side would secure consecutive victories on the road for the Pirates for the first time since September, although it’s unlikely is history of this fixture is anything to go by.
Prediction: Raphinha To Score First (4/1 – *odds subject to change – prices correct at the time of writing*)
