Mohamed Salah PFA Player of the Year odds

Egypt’s most prolific talent Mohamed Salah is looking to defend his title as PFA Player of the Year.
The Liverpool winger, now in his ninth consecutive Premier League season at the club, has scooped up the award three times in 2018, 2022 and 2025.
Since his arrival at Liverpool in 2017, few players in the Premier League have been as consistently brilliant as Mohamed Salah and the Egyptian forward has been rewriting record books, terrorising defences and collecting silverware along the way.
Now priced at 8/1 for the PFA Player of the Year award, Salah once again finds himself among the frontrunners to claim one of English football’s most prestigious individual honours.

The Egyptian King
Last season, Salah confirmed his status as the Premier League’s most valuable player, recording a phenomenal record of 29 goals and 18 assists, numbers never before seen by a winger in the league.
He’s tied the record for the most combined goals and assists with both Alan Shearer and Andy Cole; however they were both number nines and performed their feats over a 42-game season, with Salah achieving this milestone in just 38 games.
He combines clinical finishing with tireless pressing and remarkable creativity, a blend that makes him indispensable to Liverpool and Arne Slot’s system. Even in seasons where Liverpool haven’t been at their sparkling best, Salah’s individual numbers remain outstanding.
At 8/1, Salah is second-favourite to Erling Haaland (4/1), who leads the betting after his hot start to the season with eight goals and one assist in just six Premier League games. However, Salah’s ability to perform over an entire season should not be underestimated. History shows that consistency often sways PFA voters as much as explosive starts to the season.

Why Salah’s Odds Appeal
Salah rarely goes through prolonged dry spells. Season after season, he delivers double figures in goals and assists and likes to turn up in the big games when he’s needed most. Salah shines when the spotlight is brightest, whether in clashes against title rivals or on European nights.
If Slot’s men mount a strong push for the title or major trophies, Salah’s role will be central which increases his chances of voter recognition. It’s worth noting, though, that Slot has bolstered Liverpool’s attack this season with the likes of big-money signing Alexander Isak, which will take some pressure off Salah, but he’ll be headstrong in maintaining his own high standards.
