The UEFA Europa League returns this week with clubs from across Europe looking to fulfil their European dreams with the journey to Istanbul continuing here for two sides.

Two Premier League sides will battle it out for a spot in the UEFA Europa League final, as Nottingham Forest welcome Aston Villa in this semi-final first leg.

This is the first major European semi-final between two English sides since the 2008/2009 campaign and Nottingham Forest’s first European semi-final in 42 years, they return to the City Ground having smashed Sunderland 5-0 away from home on Friday night to edge closer to Premier League safety.
The Tricky Trees are now unbeaten in their last eight games across all competitions (W5, D3), William Hill have Nottingham Forest priced at 29/20 to win here, it would be the first time this season they’ve won three successive games on home soil.
Each of the last four meetings here between the two sides have produced exactly two goals, whilst Forest have lost none of their four games against Villa on home soil since their return to the top-flight (W2, D2), including a 1-1 draw just over two weeks ago.

Aston Villa’s seven game unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday after a 1-0 defeat away at Fulham but Villa will fancy their chances of progressing through into the UEL final as boss Unai Emery has progressed from each of his last five semi-finals.
The Villa boss is a master of this competition and his side are expected to go all the way, they’ve now won nine successive UEFA Europa League games, only one English team have ever managed to win ten in a row, Villa are 9/5 with the leading bookmaker to win here.
The Villans have seen eight of their last ten meetings against Nottingham Forest produce both teams to score, i think we can expect more of the same in this one although i’m backing a draw in this first leg.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
