@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..

We start this weekends Premier League Acca at Anfield with a Merseyside derby, as Everton make the short trip to face their bitter rivals Liverpool.

Later that afternoon, after their victory in the Champions League curtain raiser, Tottenham travel to the south coast to face Brighton & Hove Albion at 3pm. Saturday evening provides us with two games this week, Manchester United and Chelsea will go head-to-head in a blockbuster at Old Trafford at 5.30pm, whilst the 8pm kick-off takes us to West London for a derby, with Fulham and Brentford locking horns and looking for those bragging rights.

You can view the Liverpool v Everton and Manchester United v Chelsea Bet Builders on William Hill News.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for matchday five:

Liverpool v Everton – Saturday, 12.30pm

  • Another last minute winner for Liverpool against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening extends the Reds winning streak to five games in all competitions, maintaining their 100% record in competitive fixtures so far. They should be confident  ahead of this Merseyside derby, especially given they’ve lost just one of their last twenty-nine games against Everton whilst being the home side, (W18, D10, L1).
  • Everton have started the new campaign strongly two wins, one draw and just one defeat from their opening Premier League games. Despite that positive start, i feel like they’ve got a bit of a mental block against the Reds given their record here and this should be a win for the home side.

Pick of the game: Liverpool To Win

Brighton & Hove Albion v Tottenham Hotspur – Saturday, 3pm

  • It’s been a tough start for Fabian Hurzeler and his Brighton side, they’ve picked up just four points from a possible twelve, whilst they’ve seen both teams on the scoresheet in three of their four PL games thus far, they’ve conceded in each of their five games so far in all competitions.
  • Tottenham head to Brighton off the back of a 1-0 victory against Villarreal on Tuesday evening and they look to adapt to the UCL/Premier League schedule, despite none of their five games in all competitions so far producing both teams to score, this fixture tends to throw up goals with each of the last five meetings producing the BTTS.

Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score

Manchester United v Chelsea – Saturday, 5.30pm

  • Another damaging defeat against rivals Manchester City on Sunday has raised more questions about Ruben Amorim and his system, whilst he seems to have the backing of the United hierarchy, United need to start producing results and quick.
  • Chelsea travel to Manchester having suffered a 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday night, the Blues are unbeaten in the league though and they’ve seen both teams on the scoresheet in seven of their last eight meetings against Manchester United.

Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score

Fulham v Brentford – Saturday, 8pm

  • Fulham picked up their first Premier League victory of the season last weekend with a 1-0 victory against Leeds United, that win extended their unbeaten run at home this season to three games in all competitions, whilst they’ve beaten Brentford in their last two meetings, with both teams finding the back of the net.
  • Brentford have also won just one of their first four Premier League games, whilst they progressed into the next round of the EFL Cup with a penalty shootout victory against Aston Villa during the week.

Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score & Fulham To Win
