Gyökeres Golden Boot odds slashed

Arsenal striker Viktor Gyökeres has stormed into contention for the Premier League Golden Boot after his brace against Leeds, with William Hill cutting his odds from 9/1 into 11/2.

The Swedish forward, who struck twice in Arsenal’s 5-0 victory at the weekend, is now clear second favourite behind Erling Haaland. The Manchester City striker remains market leader at Evens, though he has drifted slightly from 10/11 following a rare blank.

Elsewhere, Hugo Ekitike has been clipped into 9/1 from 12/1 after netting against Newcastle, joining Mohamed Salah at the same price after the Liverpool forward drifted from 11/2. Brighton’s Joao Pedro is next in the betting at 14/1, with Newcastle’s Alexander Isak at 16/1.
