Liverpool Predictions 2025/2026

Liverpool’s 2024/25 campaign was a triumph. In Arne Slot’s first season, the Reds shocked many by lifting the Premier League title, finishing above Manchester City and Arsenal with high-intensity football and solid squad depth.
Many predicted a hangover post-Jurgen Klopp era, but Liverpool proved they have more to give and achieve. With a league title under their belt and confidence running high, Liverpool head into the 2025/26 season with some momentum.
We analyse their chances in the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and UEFA Champions League.

Premier League – 2/1
Liverpool are 2/1 to retain the Premier League title, a significant shift from last season’s odds. Slot’s first year in charge couldn’t have gone much better, with Liverpool relying on youth and experience to clinch their 20th league crown.
This time, they enter the campaign with a target on their backs. Arsenal are second-favourites at 9/4, and Manchester City sit just behind at 3/1, but Liverpool’s consistency and resilience last season prove they’re more than capable of doing it again. A strong start against Bournemouth, Newcastle and Arsenal will be crucial in setting the tone.
Champions League – 6/1
Back in Europe’s top competition, Liverpool will look to improve on last season’s Round of 16 finish, where they were knocked out by Paris Saint-Germain in a closely contested tie. They’re currently 6/1 to lift the trophy in 2026, behind the Parisians (5/1) in the market, but ahead of some of Europe’s elite, such as Real Madrid (13/2) and Barcelona (7/2)
With a more settled squad and improved starting XI, which now includes the impressive Florian Wirtz, signed from Bayer Leverkusen, Slot will be expected to push deeper into the tournament. Anfield on a Champions League night remains one of football’s most daunting places to visit, and that alone makes Liverpool a threat to any side.
FA Cup – 4/1
Liverpool are priced at 4/1 to win the FA Cup, and again lead the market ahead of City (9/2) and Arsenal (6/1) in the market. One of Liverpool’s few slip-ups last season came in this competition, at the hands of Plymouth Argyle, losing 1-0 in the fourth round. The FA Cup could become a key target for the Dutchman as he looks to build a winning culture and keep adding trophies to the Anfield cabinet.
English League Cup – 5/1
Having lifted the trophy just two seasons ago, Liverpool remain a formidable force in the League Cup, priced as favourites at 5/1. Slot used the competition wisely last season, prioritising youth early on and slowly adding experience as they progressed to the later stages. It took a powerful and motivated Newcastle side to overcome Liverpool in the final at Wembley, but don’t be surprised to see them progress into the deeper stages of the competition again next season.
